Metal/Death Core amp settings?

I used to have a line 6 HD150 150 watt amp and the settings i used were: amp setting-metal(red), bass-9 1/2, contour-3 1/2, treble-8, gain at about1/4 of the way, pitch shift at the lowest setting higher than zero, reverb-4. I used this amp as a home practise amp for a lil but i do NOT recomend it to anybody. Aside from the settings above, the only possible way to get something good out of this amp is to set it to class A and get a **** load of effects pedals. Whenever you have enough experience to get a band going, get a mesa boogie dual stileto. This thing is a monSter!:) just sayin
