My friend is sending me a video to my iphone 4 & it says that the components have been deleted by MMS adaption?

why does this keep happening? my friend is sending me the videos from his sprint phone & i can never receive a video unless its from another at&t phone? helpp this is really annoying i can send videos & pics to my friend & she can send me pics too but i just cant receive videos
