What guitar should i choose?

I want to buy new equipment , i have around 600 euros . I dont know if should buy an expensive guitar and an amp with incorporated effects , or a guitar around 300 euros , a vox tonelab Ex and an amp with no effects . I play heavy metal , and i need something good for distorsion , but also i want a processor like vox tonelab ex for a lot pressets and the expression pedal. Please heelp :(
