How do I stay in touch with the guy i like?

So i really like this one guy in my class, and the great thing is that he totally likes me too. But now that school's over, i don't see him like at all. Neither of us are allowed to date until high school. I am going to the same youth group as he is but i'm not sure how much i'm able to go because of camps and travel. I have chat, and like AIM, and we chat, and text. but that's not the same as seeing the person.
