Do you have to be clever to be a midwife?

A midwife is similar to a doctor, however, there are slight medical differences. Midwives are able to provide prenatal care and delivery babies. However, most of them are not certified to do c-sections. You definitely need to be clever to be a midwife, because they do deal in life or death situations (childbirth is a life-or-death situation because of the complications that can occur). I think it's great that you want to be a midwife. Make sure you keep your options open, you may change your mind. You're still young.
