Female voice: Jazz singers? Songs? AMERICAN IDOL?

In about two weeks time I am going to be auditioning for American Idol. And I have a voice similar to that of Melody Gardots. Of course its not the same voice exactly, but that is the kind of style I am aiming towards. Does anyone know of any other artists or songs similar to this genre? Or any good ideas on song choices that I could use? Please and Thank you :D
